The F-AIR is held at Medellin-Rionegro every two years and is one of the biggest trading shows in South America. We went to this event with 4Aviation and we where there from 11 July until 13 July. The first two days where for the professionals and military personnel. Only the last day the show is also open for the general public and then it got very crowded.

The US Air Force was one of the guest of this F-AIR. The main attraction for the Colombian public where the Thunderbirds. At the static there were also four F-16CM/DM from the 157 FS out of South Carolina.

The static gave also a nice overview of the Colombian Forces. The most important during these 3 days was the Kfir COA demonstration. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate on the last day and we got heavy rain shower in the morning.
