During a trip through America with 4Aviation, we visited NAS Pensacola in the state Florida for the air show.

The NAS Pensacola Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show is located aboard NAS Pensacola, the Cradle of Naval Aviation. This year, NAS Pensacola is celebrating its 100th anniversary. We have been there for two days on Friday afternoon / evenings and on Saturdays.

Unfortunately this centennial celebration brought not what we expected. It would have been nice if the show had given an overview of the aircraft that have flown here in the past.

The museum at the base gives a very good overview of the history of the navy and their planes
