From 28 September until 6 October a NATO cross servicing exercise, to train crews in loading, unloading and employing armement, was held at Volkel AB in the Netherlands.
Participating aircraft were Italian Tornado IDS from the 6th stormo based at Ghedi, Belgian F-16AM from the 10th wing based at Kleine Brogel, German Tornado IDS from Jagdbombergeschwader 33 based at Buchel, Turkish F-16C from the 191st Filo based at Balikesir, American F-16C from the 510th Fighter Squadron based at Aviano, Italia and of course the Dutch F-16AM from Volkel.
